I’ve lived in Georgia since 1999 and went to Roswell High, so I’ve known Rhea’s since the early days. The original Rhea’s near downtown Roswell was the burger spot back in the day, then the second location opened near the high school, and now Rhea’s II off Highway 9 is the one that’s stood the test of time. The other two may be gone, but this one’s still going strong — and I’m so glad it is. My buddy @Motovlogic told me they’ve got the best BLT, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by something so simple. But wow... this BLT is perfection. The brioche bread is perfectly toasted with butter, giving it just the right crisp without being hard. The bacon is flavorful and perfectly cooked, the lettuce set up is perfect and not watery, the tomatoes are just the right thickness, and the mayo ties it all together beautifully. It’s simple, but the balance and flavor are unmatched. They also make excellent burgers, patty melts, and fries... exactly what you want from a classic local diner. Pair any of it with an ice cold Coca-Cola Zero and you’ve got yourself the perfect meal. The staff is always friendly and consistent, and that consistency is part of what’s made them a Roswell staple all these years. Rhea's is a local legend! Sadly this is last remaining location...but if you want one of the best burgers in Georgia you'll need to head here and get a Jimmy Rhea's special. Just like it comes. Don't take anything off or add anything unless it's a to make it a double. These burgers are served on warm buttered Texas toast. This is where the locals in the know come. Excellent burgers. Excellent fries. Excellent cokes. Excellent service. Excellent price. This isn't a fine dining establishment, it's a burger place, so act accordingly.

EDIT: Went back and had the #1 (double cheese on Texas toast) and was blown away! Amazing and delicious! Very good burger! Had the #2 with bacon. Next time I’ll try the #1 for sure but yeah this was a really good burger. Fast, friendly service. Was packed with locals. Crinkle fries were hot and fresh out of the fryer.

Rhea's "Special" cheeseburger is a FANTASTIC burger on Texas toast. It's a big, juicy, very tasty burger. The ambiance is nothing special, just a neighborhood joint, but the food is great! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!

Recommended by a friend while working in Roswell and began eating there at least every other week. Now that I no longer work in Roswell, I will drive the 27 miles at least once a month just for a Jimmy Rheas Special. Honestly the best burger I have ever had. The great atmosphere and staff make it the ultimate trifecta.

The Rhea's special (get double meat) is the best burger anywhere. The Texas toast is buttery crispy deliciousness and the meat is pure yum. Their Cokes with the tiny ice nuggets are amazing too. We also enjoy the dogs and the grilled cheese when we come as a family. It's a no frills place, you come for the food .. Think diners, drive ins, and dives ...not bougie.

No frills, quick service and delicious food. Burgers and fries are fantastic and the onion rings will leave you daydreaming for more. This is how burgers are supposed to taste, messy and homemade. Excellent value for the price, too!
